Police Investigating Overnight 5 Burglaries in Carver Co.

The five incidents happened between 12 a.m. and 7 a.m. Wednesday in the 1700 to 1900 block of Woodstone Drive and 8500 block of North Fairway Point.

The burglaries occurred while the homeowners and families were asleep inside, according to police.

In one instance, two young children were having a sleepover and asleep in the living room while the suspect or suspects were in the home.

In four instances, the burglars entered through an unlocked patio door or window. In the fifth case, the patio screen was cut and the patio door opened by the burglars.

During these burglaries numerous items were taken, including purses, cell phones, iPods, laptops, gaming systems, and stereo systems.
