Heiden Anxious to Get Back on the Field

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- NFL players report to training camp in about a week and maybe no one's more excited about it than Steve Heiden.

The former Rushford-Peterson star is entering his 11th season in the league. But last December, he tore two ligaments in his knee on this play on Monday Night Football.

Heiden's been rehabbing the injury and says he's anxious to get on the field.

His career's taken him from Minnesota, to South Dakota, San Diego and now Cleveland. He says growing up in a small town like Rushford actually helped him get to this point in his career.
