QUALIFICATIONS:
ABC 6 News, the Hubbard Broadcasting ABC affiliate in Austin, Minnesota, has an immediate opening for an Anchor/Reporter at our Rochester, MN studio. This is not an entry-level position.

News anchoring/reporting experience.
Bachelor degree in journalism or equivalent field.
Must have valid driver's license to use company vehicle.
Knowledge of non-linear digital editing systems.
Typing and knowledge of news computer systems.
Must be able to accomodate shift changes and extended hours.

DUTIES:
We are looking for an experience newsroom leader who is able to work with others to produce and present compelling stories on air and on our award-winning website in a dynamic market covering southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. Strong writing, editing, and live reporting skills are essential. Must be able to research and write broadcast news stories that are clear, complete, and compelling under deadline. Must be knowledgeable of current events, demonstrate superior news judgment and ethical decision-making skills.
