New Ethanol Plant Short on Corn

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The new Janesville ethanol plant will be up and running Monday, but the company running the plant tells the Mankato Free Press they don't have enough corn yet to operate past the startup.

The plant needs about 100,000 bushels of corn to run each day. But rain has created problems for harvests.

The plant's startup was delayed last year because when the company that built went into bankruptcy.
