Pit Bull Puppy Stolen in St. Paul Robbery

St. Paul police are searching for two suspects who held up a man, fired shots and took his pit bull puppy Wednesday night.

Security cameras show one of the suspects ask for cigarettes at the Super USA gas station on East 7th Street as the other one snuck up behind the victim and pulled out a han gun. The victim, who did not want to be identified, says he was ordered not to move.

"I kind of freaked out and started moving around and started kind of yelling at them.He then grabbed my pocket trying to grab my wallet out of there and I yanked it back from him," he said.

The victim says when they couldn't get his wallet, one of the suspects went into the car and grabbed his dog, Blueberry.

"He went around the drivers door and grabbed the dog Blueberry. I had to go after him," he said.

The victim says he began chasing the men, until they fired four shots.

The suspects got away. The victim says he just wants his dog back.

Anyone with any information on this case is asked to call the St. Paul Police.
