Rash of Car Thefts on Olmsted County

(ABC 6 NEWS) – The sheriff's office is reminding you to lock your doors after a recent rash of car thefts in Olmsted County.

The sheriff's office says someone broke into Servpro located on the 7200 Block of Highway 14 Southeast. The thief got away with power tools, laptops, and a '97 Ford van.

The van was later found near Marion Road, and investigators say another car was stolen around that area.

The sheriff's office is also reporting 2 other car thefts in the Marion Township area, and say this may be the work of a single thief or a group of thieves in that area.
