White House: Stimulus Behind 14,315 Minnesota Jobs

ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) - The White House says the federal stimulus created or saved more than 14,000 jobs in Minnesota - about 2,000 more than state officials reported weeks ago.

President Barack Obama's administration said the stimulus created or saved 14,315 jobs in the state through the end of September.

Earlier this month, state agencies reported that the stimulus created or saved 11,800 jobs in that period.

The numbers cover jobs attributed directly to the stimulus.

The White House released the numbers on Friday.
