Bike Rider Killed While Crossing the Street

A bicycle rider was struck and killed by a car Friday night.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says the victim is a 55-year-old man from Friday. Authorities say the biker was trying to cross County Road 10 in Blaine around 8:00 p.m., Friday.  The victim died at the scene.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.  There's no word yet on the identity of the victim.
