Voters in the Austin School District will decide the fate of an operating levy, and will elect three people to the board of education out of a field of six. About 2,200 people are eligible to vote at Austin High School, but in the primary election, only about 250 of them voted. "We've had more people right now than we had during the primary, and we haven't hit the busy time yet. So it's been steady all morning long. We've even been able to have a couple of lines," says election judge Rodney Friedrich. Polls will be open until 8 o'clock tonight, and ABC 6 News will have complete election results as soon as they're available. |
