Runoff for Mason City

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Election night may be over, but we still don't have a clear winner for one local race.

In Mason City, a seat on the city council in the 2nd ward is still up for grabs.

Here are the results from last night, the winner, according to this is Travis Hickey with 576 votes, but that's only about 43 percent.

The second place candidate is Steve Palmer with 504 votes.

Because neither received 50 percent of the votes, there will now be a run off between the two.

That will take place on December first.
