POLICE: Pirated DVDs Seized from St. Paul Store

Police say they've busted a St. Paul store that was selling thousands of copies of movies that are still in theatres.

Police executed a search warrant at the Quik Copy store on University Avenue.

They say officers found nearly 3,000 pirated CDs and DVDs, many of which featured copies of first run movies.

St. Paul Patrol Commander Robert Thomasser said, "People obviously went into theatres with a camera mounted somewhere on their head or body."

Police haven't arrested anyone, but they do plan to forward their findings to prosecutors for possible charges.
