MEDICAL EDGE: Identifying Individual Risk for Breast Cancer

Every year about 250,000 women in the United States are diagnosed with breast cancer. 

Prior to their diagnosis, most of these women were not considered to be high risk for the disease.

Now work being done at the Mayo Clinic may narrow down and better identify patients most at risk for developing breast cancer.
