Semi Accident Blocks Highway 30

(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Plan on a detour if you're driving on Highway 30 near Ellendale. A semi accident has led to the closure of Hwy 30 between County Road 3 and County Road 45.

According to the Minnesota Highway Patrol, a tractor heading east on Highway 30 collided with a semi truck. The accident happened at about 10:10 this morning when the driver of the tractor attempted to turn left while the truck was passing it. The semi turned over, spilling a load of soybeans on the road.

There were no serious injuries, and MnDOT expects to have the road reopened by 2:00 this afternoon.
