Grain Truck into Swamp: Driver Missing
(ABC 6 NEWS) -- A search is underway for a missing grain truck driver in Freeborn County.
Authorities say the truck drove into a swamp near the intersection of 725th Avenue and County Road 14 just north of Albert Lea. Searchers have brought in a K-9 unit, as well as a special tracker from the Albert Lea Fire Department. The Manchester Fire Department is also assisting.
A State Patrol helicopter was dispatched to search for the driver from the air. The circumstances of the accident are unclear.
Authorities are looking for a man in his 30's, who may be injured. Anyone who may have picked him up between 3pm and 3:30pm this afternoon is asked to call Freeborn County authorities (507-355-5200)
