Train Derails in Fridley, Sparks Chemical Scare

There was a chemical scare in Fridley Friday morning after a train derailed.

Three tanker cars carrying ammonia ran off the tracks just before 10 a.m. near St. Anthony Parkway and Main Street.

Officials told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS no ammonia leaked from those cars.

There were no evacuations and no one was injured.
