According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, two men entered Heights Liquor around 8 p.m. Saturday night. Just seconds after entering the store, one of the men started shooting. The operations manager of the store, Larry Scott, said, "They were yelling and discharging the firearms from the beginning. It was scary, very scary." According to Lt. Paul Sommer of the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, the men were in and out of the store within a minute. He said, "They appear to be working together quite closely, they appear to have thought out their plan." Officials are worried about the possible escalation of violence and want the two men off the street before anyone gets hurt. The encounter was captured by surveillance cameras and investigators hope the images lead to an arrest. Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.
