7 Fire Departments Work Bus Garage Fire

BARRETT, Minn. (AP) - Seven fire department fought a destructive fire at a bus garage in western Minnesota.

Fire officials in the small Grant County community of Barrett say the garage operated by Palmer Bus Services is a total loss. Owner Floyd Palmer says he lost some school buses and buses used to transport senior citizens in Grant County, but Palmer did not know how many. The fire broke out about 9 p.m. Tuesday and firefighters worked through the night.
