War Protesters: 7 Arrested in Mpls.
Organizers of a war protest that blocked traffic in downtown Minneapolis Wednesday said police arrested seven of the protestors.
The group gathered to show their opposition to President Obama's plan to send an additional 30,000 troops to Afghanistan which would increase the number of U.S. forces to about 100,000.
Protesters marched through downtown during the Wednesday evening rush hour. They blocked streets in an attempt to disrupt traffic.
