The Minnesota State Patrol linked two traffic deaths to the snow and Stearns County officials said the weather might have contributed to a third deadly crash.

A 66-year-old Lakeville woman died in Prior Lake on Tuesday evening. The State Patrol said she lost control of her truck and ran head-on into an SUV.

Also Tuesday night, 22-year-old Carrie A. Lorman of Rogers died after she swerved to avoid a stalled car on Interstate 94 in Maple Grove and ended upside down in a creek.

Wednesday a 56-year-old Royalton man was killed in Stearns County. According to the sheriff's office, his van collided with a car on County Road 17. When he got out of his vehicle to inspect the damage he was hit by another van.

The State Patrol said there were 660 crashes, 89 minor injury collisions and 375 vehicles that went off the road between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 1 p.m. Wednesday
