Cottage Grove School Must Raise $600K or Move

A Twin Cities school has a huge financial hill to climb.

Yeshiva High School must raise more than half a million dollars in just five weeks.

The school has been housed in an old Baptist church in Cottage Grove for more than three years.

Thirty six Jewish high-school boys from around the country learn and live there.

The school is in the process of buying the building from the Minnesota Baptist Conference.

But now, due to the struggling economy, the conference has told the school it must come up with all $660,000 to buy the building by Feb. 1 or move.

The school has already given $40,000 as a down payment.
