(KAAL)--- Giving thanks to those who served our country.

That's exactly what hundreds of people did in Rochester Sunday as they packed a local church for an annual Veteran's Day service.

Guards march through a crowd of hundreds who are giving thanks to the veterans of our country.

"For the incredible heroism, courage and dedication and strength and valor and patriotism that has been reflected by the men and women that has served this nation," said Governor Tim Pawlenty.

Those at the celebration say they want to make sure veteran's day is not just a single day event, they say everyday is a day to honor our veterans.
