(ABC 6 NEWS) -- If you're looking for a place to light up your cigarette on Winona State's campus, you might have to expand your search a little further in just a few days.
Smoking will be completely banned on campus starting January 12th.
That's anywhere within campus boundaries, both inside and outside.
This new ban toughens a 2002 policy that kept smokers 25-feet from school buildings. The ban also includes chewing tobacco.
Winona State will be the second state campus to go smoke-free after Minnesota State University in Moorhead did so last January.
