(ABC 6 NEWS) -- The superintendent for the Rushford-Peterson school district will be at that speech tonight.
Charles Ehler will be the guest of congressman Tim Walz, and will have a front row seat to hear the president speak.
Ehler will also speak with members of the u-s- department of education and the American educator's association, talking about education in Minnesota.
Ehler says this is a once-in-a-life-time opportunity.
"It's a huge honor, but also it's my responsibility to carry forth the message that education needs to be a top priority and Congressman Walz has made that well known and I'm just there to reinforce what he's been advocating all along," says Ehler.
Rushford wants to replace its old school.
Ehler hopes to use stimulus money to cover the 26 million dollar cost.
