(ABC 6 NEWS) -- DFL'ers and their supporters gathered tonight in Rochester for the sixth annual Olmsted County DFL dinner.

Politicians like Secretary of State Mark Ritchie and Senator-Elect Al Franken attended tonight's dinner.

Franken spoke about the election and the recount.

The recount was presented to the state Supreme Court, and an oral argument will take place on June 1st.

Minnesotans will find out by the end of June who their second Senator will be.

Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says there are many issues the senate is facing, and only having one senator has been a burden.

Al Franken would not talk with us, but his Press Secretary says the public has spoken, and he has won the race.

Olmsted County Republicans say Norm Coleman deserves a fair election, and he has a right to a recount.
