We are just a 2-hour drive from the Twin Cities and only 45 minutes from Rochester and the Mayo Clinic. Our town is open to visitors year round for summer and winter recreation. Sports Afield magazine calls Lanesboro �One of the 50 Best Outdoor Sports Towns� in the nation. Lanesboro was also honored with the 1998 Great American Main Street Award by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
