(ABC 6 NEWS) -- Iowa state troopers responded to two fatal accidents.
    
In Winneshiek County, two people are dead after a head on collision.
    
A 38-year-old Preston woman was headed southbound on highway 139 yesterday, when she crossed over the center line, hitting a second vehicle head on.
    
Richard and Donna Wierck of Fairbank, Iowa were in that second car. 
    
Both died at the scene.

Officials in Winnebago County responded to a 911 call last night that a motorcyclist had struck a deer.
    
48-year-old Todd Ranes of Lake Mills, Iowa was driving the motorcycle, and pronounced dead at the scene.

It happened just before 10pm three miles north of Forest City on U.S. Highway 69.
