The State Patrol says the car, driven by 18-year-old Peter Kelly of New Prague crossed the center line hitting the cement truck head-on. It happened around 8:30 Monday morning on Highway 13 north of New Richland. That's north of Albert Lea. The truck was driven by 50-year-old Bruce Prestegard of Claremont. "Generally speaking, we're not sure the whole circumstances related to the actual crash. All we know at this time is that two vehicles did crash, one cement truck and a small motor vehicle," says Waseca Sheriff Deputy Brad Milbrath. The State Patrol says both people were hurt, but are expected to survive. |
