Accident Sends 5 To Hospital
(ABC 6 NEWS) - An accident on Highway 52 on Wednesday night sent 5 people to the hospital. It happened at 10:35pm.
The Minnesota State Patrol says that a car carrying four people from Rochester and one person from Fargo were in the car. They were riding on Highway 52 at Olmsted County Road 7.
The patrol reports that the driver of the car tried to stop, but slid through an intersection. They say the car collided with a street sign, then landed in a ditch.
Authorities say that the roads were wet at the time.
The people in the car range in age from 15 to 21 years old.
They are:
- Madit Mogndal, 21, Fargo, North Dakota
- Ali Gombo, 15, Rochester, MN
- Tegjwok Agor, 20, Rochester, MN
- David Ijong, 21, Rochester, MN
- Lual Deng, 19, Rochester, MN
None of the injuries are considered life threatening.
Chatfield Ambulance and Fire Department responded to the scene as well as the State Patrol.
