Clear Lake PD ask for public’s help in assault case

(ABC6 News) – The Clear Lake Police department has asked for the public’s help in an assault case from March 19.

A female victim was assaulted by unknown suspect(s) in the public parking lot at S. 3rd Street and 1st Avenue S around midnight, according to the police department.

She was taken by private vehicle to seek medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries. The incident was reported to law enforcement several days later.

The investigators believe people in the area during the time of the assault may be able to identify suspects and/or other witnesses.

According to Clear Lake PD, there is no evidence of a continued threat to the public.
