Fourth person arrested in connection to death of Austin man in October

(ABC 6 News) – A fourth person has been arrested in connection to the death of an Austin man in October of last year.

21-year-old Tyrone Williams was booked into the Mower County Jail Tuesday and is facing possible charges of aiding and abetting 2nd-degree murder, aiding and abetting 1st-degree robbery and aiding and abetting 1st-degree assault in relation to the death of William Hall.

Court records show an arrest warrant was issued for Williams and that he possibly fled to Chicago shortly after the incident.

Information about the location and timing of Williams’ arrest was not immediately available.

William Hall was found dead in his Austin home on October 13, 2021. Law enforcement said they believed Hall was surprised by a group of young men who had come to his house with the intent to steal from him. During the encounter, police say, Hall was pushed down and hit in the face, which left him seriously injured.

He was later found dead inside the home.

Three other individuals have already been arrested in connection to Hall’s death.

Williams’ initial court appearance is scheduled for April 4.
