Rain Is FINALLY On The Way!
We have settled into not only an unusually warm stretch of weather, but a pretty dry one as well. In fact, the drought conditions continue across most of the Weather First Viewing Area, as it’s been a while since our last significant rain (Oct. 24 = 0.49″). This will all come to an end though, as we move into the end of the week. A slow-moving & powerful storm system brings in a soaking rain, which looks to last Friday through Saturday. Over an inch or two will be possible, especially along & to the east of the Highway 52 communities, with lesser amounts lining up out west. Cooler air will filter in with & behind this system for next week.
