(ABC 6 News) – Rochester and Olmsted County law enforcement revealed the identity of the Rochester man suspected of causing the death of 28-year-old Tia Arleth and hiding her body in Haverhill Township over the summer.
Timothy Daniel Loftus, 41, faces charges of 3rd-degree homicide and interference with a dead body.
The homicide charge is based on the sheriff’s office’s belief that Loftus supplied drugs to Arleth, which caused an overdose.
Loftus has been in custody in the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center since July on unrelated charges, and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office announced that he will be arraigned on new charges Friday, Nov. 4.
Arleth was found in the area of County Road 2 and 70th Avenue NE in Haverhill Township June 17, 2022 and the Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office announced her identity on June 22.
