Hayfield advances to Class A Semifinals over Cass Lake-Bena

(ABC 6 News) – The Hayfield Vikings Girls Basketball team will advance to the semi-finals after beating Cass Lake-Bena 67-57.

Girls are going to hold on and win 67-57 and advance to the semifinals against the Minneota Vikings tomorrow at noon at Williams Arena!

Hayfield remains undefeated now with a 32-0 record. Kristen Watson led Hayfield with 29 points while Natalie Beaver poured in 24. The fifth-seed Vikings will face unseeded Minneota on Friday at 12 PM at Williams Arena.

Minneota defeated top-seeded Mountain Iron-Buhl in overtime to advance to the semifinals.
