Goodhue, Winona, Austin Advance to Section Title Game With Wins

(ABC 6 News) – Goodhue secured a date with the reigning champs after a thrilling 44-42 victory over Rushford-Peterson Saturday night in the Section 1A semifinals.
They will face Hayfield in the championship game Thursday at 6 pm.
In Section 1AAA action, Winona marched into "The Jungle" and tamed the Stewartville Tigers 62-52. Jasper Hedin had a game-high 28 points.
Austin routed Kasson-Mantorville 71-39 in coach Kris Fadness’ final game at the school.
Austin and Winona are set to face off for the section championship next Friday at 8 pm.
