The Landing MN finds a new site to call home

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester’s day center for people who are homeless is moving.
The Landing MN has signed a purchase agreement for a building near the Olmsted County government center.
It’s currently located in the old fire station at Silver Lake which they were lending from the city.

This move will give them more opportunities to expand the center to fit the growing needs of Rochester’s homeless population.
"We’re asked all the time what’s happening a the end of April. because they’re aware that our lease is up and they’re aware that we may not be in existence. So it’ll be nice to be able to tell them that yes we will have a permanent home and yes we will be able to continue to do the things we do here," The Landing MN Founder Dan Fifield said.
