A Strong Front = A Few Strong Storms

A few passing showers will remain possible throughout the day on Wednesday, along with a rumble of thunder or two as well. More storms return to the forecast on Thursday, along the strong cold front coming through. The front will bring in a round of storms Thursday, from 9 AM – 1 PM as it is coming through. This is now a little earlier than the models were showing Wednesday, meaning the severe threat for the Weather First Viewing Area has changed just a bit. In fact, for the better, as it is now lower along & west of I-35. East of the I-35 corridor, we still could see a strong storm or two, with damaging wind the main concern. This front will bring another round of beneficial rain, with upwards of a new quarter of an inch expected.
