Should there be a federal child tax credit extension?

(ABC 6 News) – During the president’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, the president mentioned a possible extension to the federal child tax credit. If it happens, there could be parental work requirements attached to it. One organization looking to see if it’s extended is a D.C.non-profit called Humanity Forward.

Betsy Singer spoke with Greg Nasif, a spokesperson for Humanity Forward about what this would mean for families, and why he believes this credit should come back.
