1 taken to the hospital after car vs. train crash in Plymouth, IA
(ABC6 News) — An eastbound car hit a southbound train in Plymouth, Iowa this morning.
A little before 9 a.m., Suchanan Tosevigen’s 2003 Ford Taurus struck a Canadian Pacific train near the intersection of Main Street and Grove Street.
Tosevigen, 44, had to be extricated from the vehicle. He was transported to North Iowa Mercy One with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tosevigen was wearing a seatbelt.
According to the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff’s office, the incident remains under investigation.
