Vikings prioritize defense on day 2 of NFL Draft

(ABC 6 News) – A day after the Minnesota Vikings traded their #12 pick to a division rival to get the #32 and #34 pick, the team makes a draft-day trade again under the same circumstances.
The Vikings traded the #34 pick they acquired from the Detroit Lions to the Green Bay Packers for picks #53 and #59.
Later, they traded picks #53, #77, and #192 to the Indianapolis Colts for picks #42 and #122.
With the 42nd pick, the Vikings drafted Clemson cornerback Andrew Booth, Jr. and with the #59 pick, they selected LSU offensive guard Ed Ingram.
The Vikings also selected Oklahoma linebacker Brian Asamoah with their third-round pick
It remains to be seen what the final 2022 Minnesota Vikings draft class will look like and if new general manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah will continue making moves.
