(ABC 6 News) — After shutting out the Huskies in the first game, 3-0, Century Baseball got a taste of its own medicine right after.

The Panthers allowed five runs in the opening inning of their second game against Owatonna on Saturday. With a small crowd on hand at Mayo Field, the Panthers did their best to diffuse their predicament. Despite two double plays defensively, the Panthers were frozen at the plate, unable to score any offense.

Case in point, a Ben Johnson appearance resulting in an out on a foul ball. The final score would be 6-0 in favor of the Huskies as Century looks towards its crosstown rivalry with Mayo on Monday.
