Mims pleads guilty in multiple armed robbery cases

(ABC 6 News) – An Austin man pleaded guilty ahead of his trial for armed robbery of multiple Mower County businesses.
Adrick Mims, 26 of Austin, faced a total of eight charges in three separate cases — three counts of robbery while possessing a dangerous weapon, four counts of 2nd-degree assault, and one count of fleeing a peace officer in a motor vehicle.

Mims pleaded guilty to three counts of robbery while possessing a dangerous weapon Monday, Nov. 14.
The remaining charges were dismissed.
He remains in custody at the Department of Corrections pending sentencing, according to court documents filed Monday.
Mims’ sentencing is scheduled for March 9, 2023.
