(ABC 6 News) — It’s poised to be a new era for Triton Football.

Pending board approval, Brandon Neseth is set to take the helm for the Cobras this coming fall as head coach. This comes after the resignation of Mike Ellingson who coached Triton for the past four seasons.

Neseth was previously the head coach of United South Central since 2016. He was responsible for leading the Rebels to their first-ever state appearance in 2018.

The Cobras finished 2021 with a winning record, going 6-4 with four of their victories by two points or less.
