Slippery overnight travel as light snow accumulates

Light snow continues to fall. With up to 1″ of overnight accumulations along with wet roads freezing up with dropping temperatures, look for the travel scene to have some slow downs. The slippery levels will increase on lesser traveled roads / untreated streets and parking lots.

The power of the sun kept roads mainly wet throughout Tuesday. That same situation will present itself on Wednesday morning. As the sun comes up any slippery spots will quickly turn wet, even as a few snow showers linger through the morning.
