Financial strategist gives insight on record-high inflation

(ABC 6 News) – Inflation in the U.S. rose 8.5% in March, marking the highest increase since 1981. According to the Labor Department’s Consumer Price Index, between February and March, inflation rose 1.2% marking the biggest month-to-month jump since 2005.

Betsy Singer spoke with financial strategist Mitch Kramer who runs Fluent Financial. During their conversation, they discuss why inflation remains an ongoing issue, and why some say it could last for years.
