(ABC 6 News) – A local toy store is working to help some of the children in Taopi that were affected by this week’s tornado.

ABC and Toy Zone are donating easter baskets to 14 displaced children in Taopi.

The baskets include candy, plush toys, games, and at-home science projects.

"When something of devastation happens like this it’s nice to see how many people want to help and whether it’s going there or contributing something," ABC and Toy Zone owner Steve Nordhus said.

The baskets have already been picked up, but ABC and Toy Zone say there’s still time for people to donate.

They will continue to work with residents of Taopi to make sure donations make it to people in need.
