Grizzlies forward Ben Oakland signs NAHL tender with the Minnesota Wilderness

(ABC6 News) — After lighting it up during the Fraser Cup Tournament, one Rochester Grizzlies star is moving up to the NAHL.

Forward Ben Oakland has signed a tender agreement with the Minnesota Wilderness based near Duluth in Cloquet.

Oakland proved his worth for Rochester with five goals throughout the Fraser Cup and 12 points overall; those efforts nabbing him tournament MVP honors.

Oakland also spent time with the Austin Bruins during the 2020-2021 season, his rookie year.
