I-35 SB near Faribault reduced to one lane following "numerous" crashes
(ABC 6 News) – UPDATE: I-35 southbound near Faribault has reopened but is reduced to one lane.

Southbound I-35 near Faribault is closed after several crashes have been reported Tuesday afternoon.
Information posted on MN 511 around 2:15 p.m. said "between Exit 55: Faribault Road (near Faribault) and Exit 45: Steele County Road 9 (Medford). The road is closed. Look out for numerous crashes. Consider using an alternate route. For the next four hours."

I-35W Northbound at mile marker 55, South of Fairbault strong winds tipped over nine semis. Unknown the extent of injuries. Detour is being set up by MNDOT.
