Train route disrupted by man near train tracks

(ABC 6 News) – Rochester police confirmed Wednesday that the man was not hit by the train or injured.
Capt. Casey Moilanen said the man refused treatment upon reaching the hospital and walked away.
He confirmed that no charges were filed.
(ABC 6 News) – A man was taken to the hospital after claiming to be hit by a train in Rochester.
It happened around 1:40 p.m. near the railroad crossing on W Silver Lake Dr NE. Tuesday, Nov. 22.
Rochester Police Department says the man was sitting near the train tracks, in a chair he brought, when a the train approached him. The conductor of the train stopped the train when he saw the man; Thinking that he may have hit him.
The man claims he was struck by the train, but RPD did not see any visible injuries. Per the mans request, RPD called a Mayo Clinic Ambulance and took him to the hospital to be checked out.
The road was blocked for roughly 30 minutes.
RPD says the city attorney may be charging the man with a crime, but that has not been confirmed yet.
