John Marshall GBB head coach Phil Schroeder reportedly stepping down after nine seasons

(ABC 6 News) — Major news has come out of John Marshall in regards to its girls basketball program.
On Tuesday, it was reported that Rockets girls basketball head coach Phil Schroeder is stepping down from his position after nine seasons. Schroeder was a very successful coach, ending his time with the Rockets with a 166-82 overall record.
Recently, Schroeder led John Marshall to the Section 1AAAA Championship on March 11th. A title game that ultimately ended in a 54-39 loss to Lakeville North.
Schroeder spent 19 years overall with John Marshall girls basketball, achieving 20+ wins in five out of his nine seasons as head coach.
