Tuesday Snow: Now Looking 2-4″

Light snow could start as early as daybreak on Tuesday, picking up in the afternoon and early evening on Tuesday. The duration of the snow prompts a rise from the original 1-3″. Once again, southern Minnesota is more likely to see higher snowfall totals than northern Iowa. Visibility WILL be an issue between the snowfall itself and gusty winds as the snow is occurring. Plow trucks are expected to be out and about during this snow system clearing the roads, but those living in rural areas will need to be careful as roads will be especially slick as they are not likely to get their roads cleared as fast.
